Send Global Messages

Setup Global Message...

The Send Global Message dialog depicted to the left allows any user with Implementer privilege to send a global message to all users for multiple clients. The Send Date determines when the message is presented to the user. The Expire Date determines the date that the message is no longer broadcast to any user. This prevents a user who logs on well after the message is sent to not receive a "stale" message. The Delete Flag controls what actions the user needs to take to stop the message from appearing each time they log in. When it is set to "Ask to delete/Default=No", then the user must click a Delete check box before the message stops appearing at log in. The Clients To Send To input area allows control over which clients receive the message.

Standard Screen Print...
The dialog on the right shows the message that the user receives. Messages can be configured to be deleted automatically once they are shown to the user. Or they can be configured to require the user to click on a delete check box.
