Automated Control Testing

The DB and benefits administration arena has calculation requirements that are complex as well as critically important. In this environment it is crucial that there are robust mechanisms in place to ensure that calculation output is correct.

Typically, administration systems have their calculation output tested using third party tools to automate the process. This means that IT support is usually needed to set them up and, because the IT staff doesn’t have the required domain knowledge to intuitively know what to test, this set up becomes a very difficult and error prone process. The net result is that control tests become expensive to configure and operate and often are given short shrift because of these difficulties.

The hrMecca administration platform has control test automation integrated into the core application in such a way that the same domain experts that set up the system can also build out the automated control tests. Using our platform, implementation teams can set up whatever control tests are necessary to ensure that calculation output is accurate, all without needing any external IT support.
